After spending more than three decades in an office, I retired with the goal of learning the art of photography. While there are many genres to choose from, this is what you will find here:

Architectural

One of my grandfathers was a well-known architect in Birmingham, Alabama for more than fifty years. He was the Martin of Miller, Martin & Lewis (Miller & Martin before that). I have embarked on a journey to document as many of these buildings as possible. I have a whole section of images devoted to their work. But I love photographing beautiful architecture wherever it is and whoever designed and built it, so you will find other beautiful architectural images here as well.

Travel and Cityscapes

Who doesn’t like to travel? I love to travel, so when I get the chance, I keep the camera close by - just in case. You will also find architectural gems from around the world here.

Street

This genre is a celebration of day-to-day life that photography captures in a way that nothing else can.
